Salem Housing Authority to accept Applications for Voyager’s Village Project-Based Vouchers for 1, 2, and 3-bedroom units.

Effective Tuesday, October 27, 2026, from 1:00 pm until Tuesday, November 10, at 11:59 pm, Salem Housing Authority (SHA) will accept applications for the Voyager’s Village 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 3-bedroom waiting lists.

Voyager’s Village is located at 2210 Commercial St NE in Salem. For more information about this property, visit their website at http://www.micoregon.org/services/voyagers-village.

Applications will be placed on the waiting list in date and time order.
A valid email address is required to apply.

A small number of units at Voyagers Village offer income-based rent through the
Section 8 Project-Based Vouchers program and will be placed from this list.

The other units at the property will be filled directly by their property management and not from these lists.

Residents with a project-based voucher pay approximately 30% of their monthly income
for rent. Assistance is tied to the units and is not transferable.

These units are restricted to households with income at or below HUD’s Very Low Income Limit (50% Area Median Income), which is currently:
$35,650 annually for 1 person,
$40,750 annually for 2 people,
$45,850 annually for 3 people.

Applications may only be submitted between October 27th, 2026, at 1:00 pm and November 10, 2026, at 11:59 pm. Applications will not be accepted after the application window closes.
