Salem Housing Authority Resident Advisory Board

The Resident Advisory Board (RAB) represents the residents of Public Housing and Voucher Program participants assisted by the Public Housing Authority (PHA).

Being a member of the Resident Advisory Board plays a significant role in the planning process, development, and future modifications of the PHA Plan. Salem Housing Authority’s goal is to collaborate and make sure we are getting input from our residents and providing the best practices available to our residents.

You can make a significant difference and positively impact the community. Gain a clear understanding of what to expect from this role and be prepared to embark on a fulfilling journey.

Resident Advisory Board Qualifications:
Residents of Public Housing and participants of the Section 8 Voucher program are eligible to join the Resident Advisory Board.

Resident Advisory Board Member Role:
Review and make recommendations on the PHA Plan at an annual meeting (via Zoom or in person).
Occasional short surveys throughout the year that can be completed online.

 

What you could expect:
Join us in our Mid-Year PHA Plan discussion online or in person for your convenience.

A survey will be emailed/mailed to you a couple of times a year.
