PUBLIC NOTICE – Salem Housing Authority

45-day Notice of Public Hearing on July 14, 2025, at which time the draft Annual Public Housing Agency (PHA) Plan and attachments, the 5-Year Capital Fund Plan, and the Moving to Work (MTW) Supplement, will be available to review and open for comments. The Housing Authority Board of Commissioners will hold a Public Hearing to hear and discuss public comments on the Proposed PHA Plan Annual Plan for 2024-2025 on Monday, July 14, 2025, at 6:00 pm. Meetings are hybrid (in person and virtual) at the City of Salem Loucks Auditorium, Salem Public Library, 585 Liberty St. SE, Salem, OR 97301. Copies of the proposed plans will be available for review online at www.salemhousingor.com/plans-and-policies or at Salem Housing Authority, 360 Church St SE, Salem, OR during normal business hours.

Residents, local government officials, and other interested parties are invited to comment on the proposed physical and management improvements affecting the Housing Authority’s public housing properties as well as updates to the PHA Plan and MTW Supplement.

Written comments on the plans may be mailed to the attention of Salem Housing Authority, ATTN: PHA Plan, 360 Church ST SE, Salem OR 97301 or emailed to compliance@salemhousingor.com. All written comments received will be provided to the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) with the submission of these documents and written comments received.

Written comments received before 4:30 PM on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, will be presented to the Housing Authority Board of Commissioners during the Public Hearing on July 14, 2025.
