Yaquina Hall Waiting List Opening Soon for 1-Bedroom Applications
Effective Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 9:00 am until Sunday, April 13, 2025, at 11:59 pm, Salem Housing Authority (SHA) will accept applications for the waiting list for 1-bedroom apartments at Yaquina Hall.
These units offer income-based rent through the Section 8 Project-Based Voucher program.
Residents pay approximately 30% of their monthly income for rent and utilities at these Yaquina
Hall. Assistance is tied to the units and is not transferrable. These units are restricted to households
with income at or below HUD’s Very Low-Income Limit (50% Area Median Income), which is
currently $32,000 annually for 1 person. Supportive services are offered at the property, but
engagement in services is not required as a condition of occupancy.

accepted as a reasonable accommodation. Paper applications may be requested by contacting SHA at

Applications will not be accepted after 11:59 pm on Sunday, April 13, 2025.
